I think is OK what you see. The crankshaft rotates twice as fast as the camshaft. So 180 is OK, as another crankshaft rotation will result in the camshaft go to 0 degrees, i.e. aligned. If you get it very wrong as you feared the car will not run at all. One teeth or two off alignment can cause some running issues any more probably will cause bad running.

what kind of running issues? stuttering looking like maybe?

Yes, stuttering is possible. Worth a double check next time, just rotate the crankshaft once more so that camshaft aligns do you can check if any tooth are out of alignment. However, stuttering can be caused by many other problems.

i doubt coil packs went bad just at the same time when i timed it again, i cranked the car few times before i timed it correctly and it didnt start if that damaged anything

its only slight stuttering, if i drive in lets say 4th gear and i hold gas pedal in the same possition i can feel like its slowly decreasing speed but if i floor it, it goes normally

only thing i changed was, i slacked gas cable little more and timed it again, didnt touch anything else

then i put 10 squid worth of gas in it on different gas station and all is back to normal, who would have guessed it was cuz of **** fuel
