hey there,
Does anyone know if the wheel bolts on all/most fiat cars are the same? (M12 x 1.25) i.e. puntos, 500's, old and new etc.
Got some new (fiat) alloys on their way to me for my Mk1 75sx N reg, and wondering if the current bolts, and any locking wheel nuts i might buy, will be the correct size.

Cheers in advance

thanks for the quick reply,
yeah sorry should have said 'length' rather than 'size', i do have steelies on at the moment, so they might be too short? that's was what i feared :/.

the 'M12 x 1.25' measurement of bolts does not include the length i assume? i found out the M is for medium offset, are the 12 and 1.25 diameter and thread size?

usually quite thorough in my research before i purchase anything but overlooked this rather important factor lol

yes 12 and 1.25 and the thread width and thread pitch. The alloy is clearly thicker than a steel wheel so bolts are longer.

How long your bolts need to be depends on whether the wheels will fit straight on or if they need spacers, as again clearly if you have spacers the bolts need to be longer to accommodate that as well. To know whether they need spacers requires more wheel details. Need to know width (often referred to as j) and offset (referred to as ET) to establish whether they fit further in or out than the original wheels.

thanks for all the help guys, really appreciated.
they are genuine Fiat alloys off a later model punto, i think Mk3, size 165/70/R14. I assume they will not need spacers since they are stock fiat alloys, but maybe i'm wrong?

Those wheel bolts won't fit, they have a 60 degree seat not radius seat for oem fitment
