Hey guys. My car is burning water faster than normal... But there is no water getting to the oil (no mayo colour). What can this be caused by?

The car shouldn't use any water. Sounds like head gasket if no leaks.

Check for leaks thoroughly first.

If possible get the car up on a ramp and upto running temperature.

Look especially for leaks from the water rail, water rail O ring and water pump.

No mayo doesn't really mean much -- compression test if you can't find a leak.

Had a mechanic check the Motor today after taking a quick look myself,

He said that the Head gastket is probably at the beginning of going,

Said that the water is mixing with the air and getting shot out the exhaust.

So aslong as i keep an eye on the Water level nothing else should go wrong.

But i will get it sorted asap.

If anyone has got PDF Manual for Punto i would love to have it,

Haynes manual or something.

If you start having overheating issues then HG definitely will need attention.

So he didn't do a compression test? Should be definitive.

Get it sorted very quicky -- but get a compression test done first. And find a new mechanic. FCS, it takes 15 minutes to do a compression test.
