16"s with no mods, 17"s if you remove 1 arch liner screw and cut a small piece out of the bumper with a knife.
Offset -37mm PCD 4x98mm its as easy as changing a flat.

My 17's went straight on and only caught the arch when the bottom'd out, otherwise they were ok. But best to get the arches done, should'nt cost anymore than £100.

doesnt it depend on the size of the tyre? would putting low profile tyres on a 17 in rim mean you dont have to cut the bumper?
