Hi,
I currently have a MK 1 Punto 1.6 Sporting. So far have put a green cotton filter on it. Am thinking of getting some 17" Tourque alloys for it and a powerflow job. But am also thinking of whether to sell it and get a Punto GT turbo instead and do some mods to that. However I am 19 and the insurance group is high for the GT. Is there anywhere that I can get decent low cost insurance? What should i be paying, and what is the lowest i can get it??

It all depends on how long you have been driving, what NCB you have, what crime number your area has, have you got an alarm, convictions, claims, bans.

Your best bet is tesco, CIS (Co-op) or liverpool victoria.
Even with everything on your side you are still talking £2000+
Eventually you will get bored of it and want that to go faster, increasing your insurance again. My advise is not to buy a GT, if you don't drive one you won't know what you are missing.
