do I need to fit additional pullys or is it a larger v belt

many thanks Phil

ps the car is for my duaghter and she hasnt got arms like Popeye !!!!!!!!

If she learns to move forward (or back) slowly on the clutch the steering will be MUCH lighter. If that's not possible she will need a better spec car. TBH she will soon learn proper clutch control and the steering issue will go away.

Women are also a LOT stronger than they like us blokes to think. Believe me I've seen little women in Body Pump classes who make pumped up gym junkies look like wimps. She'll soon get it sorted.

as whitesei has said - If she learns to turn the wheel when she is crawling the steering is much lighter

When your standing still - you are physically twisting the rubber - Making it much harder to turn (hence why you often find for a 1/4 turn you apply about 1/2 of that comes back off - as the rubber is twisting back

Also tyre pressures do make a difference
If the pressure is low - then you've gotta twist more rubber = More Hard work

Read the manual see what the correct PSI for the Tyres on
They should be checked weekly as it is
Might be worth while just Putting a Few (1 to 3) extra PSI in
As it wont affect tyre tread that much - it might just make it a little lighter

If you over-pump the tyre you have the risk of a Blow out - AND Overinflated tyres wear the middle of the tyre out first
