Okay i have a black fiat punto 55s 1996
Refitted a new engine and put a new clutch onto the engine, left the old clutch bearing in there although it did fall out and , i did put it back in to place, When putting the engine back in the Clutch slave popped out, pushed it back in and done everything back up.

It now starts :slayer:

BUT when switched off im able to put it into gear, when switched on, i cant put it into gear and when i put it into Rev it screams at me lool

Going back to the garage tomorrow and im thinking maybe i should bleed the slave first if not put a new bearing on, anyone got any ideas ??

Problem after problem

Ow another point to add the slave is leaking now only slightly but left over night i noticed the small puddle

with everyone that viewed, i got a new slave cylinder, it looks like ive put the clutch plate on the wrong way *DOH* haha going to see if thats the problem tomorrow hopefully it is, funny thing is after me 2 other mechanics looked at it and tryed to make it straight, hopefully this is the problem, would explain why its not going into gear !

Okay turns out i got a dodgey clutch, i did have it the right way, just the bearings and stuff were not putting enough pressure on the plate. Now it starts and works fine.

BUT now everytime i push on the accelerator it squeals, could this be a belt or maybe even the Auxilrator ( Sorry mis spelt really tired ), also noticed a small leak from the exhaust so gonna patch it up.

Hopefully car will be fine tomorrow once ive looked at all the problems .

Ow yh and now steering is stiffer then usual and it leans to the left...
