hello everybody.
at the last week i've decided that i'm going to recondition my punto s75 engine.
thats include head gasckets, valve, head grinding (pro will do it), overhaul , and any other thing that ill see that will need to be recon.

the throttle has been cleaned, need to be fit with new gasckts. can anyone know where i can find throttle gasckts?

ive poured some diesel fuel to see if it will leak through the pistons ring - and it did, so it also need to be replaced.

on this project, i would like to charge my Punto more power.

any ideas how to do so?

Turbo charging is probably the most expensive way to more power. A larger engine would be a much better option.

Piston bores should be parallel. Piston to cylinder clearances must be at the correct limit. If the bores have worn bigger in mid stroke it will need to be rebored and have new pistons fitted.

If the bores and pistons are good, you can fit new piston rings and hone the bores.

can you please explain?

Just enter your reg and it will give you a full list of parts, i think they sell the gaskets and seals for the whole engine for £20

well, they dont have the throttle gascket set. i dont thing there is a set like this. correct me if im wrong.

Pouring diesel oil down the bores proves nothing about the piston seals. Suggest you do some reading on engine restorations.

Since you've took your engine apart, you could do a port and polish on the head and inlet manifold. Could free up a few horsepower :) Also you could look for a bigger throttle body, or bore out the one you have at the minute.
