Hi all,

Bit confused here lol I keep getting steamed up windows in my 55s, If I wipe the front screen every so often with a microfibre cloth I can manage it, just hard to keep clear as your driving :(

How ever, My front door windows and rear windows steam up to the point it runs. I have the rear demister on at most time's.

I have checked, checked and double checked if there's any water leaks/seal's broke in the car (even had the rear light's off to check steals in there) but everything seems watertight. I'm not losing water in the engine bay and my heater's work as normal.

So lol my question is, is there a pollen filter on the 1995 55s? An online auction site does sell them that cover's that model and year (260530589727)

I know there's a filter/flap inside a flap, inside the glove box, but I assume that's just the flap to select air from outside or recirculate. And I do have it set to bring air in from outside always.

I haven't had the trim under the wiper arm's off yet. But was just wondering before I do. Tell ye what the information on the net is confusing lol.

sorry to pester lol but there's alot of misleading or confusing info on the net about the punto. That's why I'd thought id ask on here.

maybe it might be best if I just look, Problem is I dont know where or what Im looking for. I know (if its there) its a filter, but how to get to it.

Hi rallycinq,

Heater box drain's? where are they located m8, Its not the two flat tube looking things under the bonnet, the ones that drain from the windscreen you mean?

Aircon wise I don't have it :(

Cheers

thought so lol dam yep water comes out ok :( wonder what else it could be?

I know today I hit a puddle when driving and water splashed up on the passenger side onto the bonnet and windscreen and within seconds my windscreen inside steamed up fast, I did have the heaters on hot and on setting 1. If that gives anything away?

strange, no mate just normal hot air smell maybe dusty smell? Just cant understand why the windows mist up so bad. If it did have a pollen/cabin filter it would make sense if it hadn't been changed for year's on end.
