| rear wheel help hi, went to mechanic out of town, had a puncture, needed a replacement. all seemed fine, until a month later when i tried ot take off the rear wheel to change brake shoes, one of the wheel nut is cross threaded, and sheered off. just want to know what part i need ot look for to fix this problem, whould i be right in orderin a brake drum? (currently running on 3 bolts, is this safe?? MOT due, im guessin it wont pass) thanks

| Re: rear wheel help For mk1 you need hub, not drum. I was working on brakes last week on my punto mk1, so I know what I'm talking about . For newer puntos (mk2,...)I'm not sure

| Re: rear wheel help Aye you could but if it's cross threaded your threads will be knackered, and it's dangerous running on 3 nuts, just buy a replacement hub at a scrappie, can't see it costing much, they're about £50 new. Plus you need new nuts. Of course drilling would be the first thing I'd try to save a bit of money.
