| Punto Selecta Fuel Consumption Hi, What mpg could I reasonably expect to get out of the Selecta Punto 1.2.? Driving like a granny only gave me around 35--I get well over 40 out of my TD Xantia, with a lot more comfort. Riding in the Punto is like riding on an empty 5 gallon oil drum;- no comfort, basic, and made of kitchen tin foil. I think my Punto owning days are numbered; - I bought it to run around in while I did some maintenance on the Xantia. When working odd shifts, you can't leave car off the road, I need it to drive 15 miles each way, or maintain cars as you would like, and as most weekends are usually hissing it down, that is a no go too. As a trucker, it is nice to just put car in D, and let it do its own thing, instead of shifting through anything from 12-16 forward gears. ![]() Greg

| Panda's with Gadget's | Re: Punto Selecta Fuel Consumption What sort of driving are you doing? My Panda Selecta is a 1.1 (1108cc) and will return 52mpg on a long journey at 55mph, and 34-38MPG doing a mixture of around town and dual carrage way driving around Norwich Jon.
