Can i put lacquer on tinted lights?!?!

Just finished tintin my lights with the savage tint spray and theyve got a rly matt finish, want it shiny. Does anyone know if i can put lacquer on them and will it work?? Please help.

you can. but wax does the job just fine

Dont have any wax but will autoglym resin polish do the job....or is the polish just the same as the wax? Cheers for ur reply

you just aint sprayed em properly im affraid... they shouldnt need any lacquer or waxing, savage tint spray is shiney straight off if sprayed properly.

i think mine were laquered from the bloke i bought them off as they are v shiny.

I dont know wot i did wrong tho, did light layers as the tin and everyone says, n waited an hour n half til each coat was dry. ahh well il just have to see if lacquer is my bets friend or enemy on this one, haha

Put a good few layers of lacquer on them (decided to in the end) and now they look the shiz! cheers for ur comments

What is it that makes you get a mat effect then? I used E-Tech spray and it was all shiny straight away.

I really have no idea, used the savage spray which everyone seems to say is the best. Give a them a good clean beforehand aswell. Did them in my garage so its no as if they were really that effected by the weather so im lost y they ended matt. ahh well they look sweet now anyway so if anyone ends up with a matt finish lacquer is an option to sort them out
