Re: few changes

Just out of interest (almost like my 'why do people tint their lights' question), why do people move their number plates? I often think it looks worse the way they mount/position them (only personal opinion).

Jon.

if the numberplate is in the tailgate, the boot will never have the "smooth" look that people find desirable.

a smooth looking car can get away with a numberplate mounted lower down, because its not as eye catching.

Re: few changes

I think it would look much better if you bought a recess for that rear bumper, then stuck the plate in there Makes it look OEM, rather than now where it sort of looks like a after thought.

i agree. It would improve the look of the car so much more

hard work to modify to that extent, though.

Re: few changes

Well it failed, but its a few hundered quid to repair which isnt to bad, however it worked out cheaper to replace one of the faulty shock absorbers with the ones i have with the lowering kit i got given so now the whole car has been lowered 40mm and will look smoother, should have photos up as soon as i get it back!

Re: few changes

So here is my car pretty much finished on outside looks:

Lowered 40mm allround, re-sprayed black bk racing alloys, 4 new nankang 195/45/15 tyres.

Re: few changes

I dont have anymore plans for the outside looks for now and probably wont ever, however i was considering a letterbox vent on the bonnet as i think they look so nice, and might add to the smoothness of the look, i was also considering new mirrors as mine are broken but just sit there screwed in place, but thats minor detail.

Inside might have a seat change as they currently have 5dr seats in and dont recline, abit of a pain in a 3dr (bought it like that) and other than that just need to finish building subbox into wheel arch.

anymore thoughts people want to add?
