kwp2000 plus

Hi guys,i just bought kwp2000+ and i cnt getit work properly.I have a punto mk2b sporting with me7.3.1 ecu.I only get information from the ecu,cant read it and cant write it.any ideas whats wrong?i also cant make it work with any scan-diagnostic tool.

It doesn't appear that it is computable with your ECU. When you say you can get information, but cant read it, what information is it that you are getting?

i will upload tomorrow print screens of the messagesi get.Has anyone here used kwp2000+ ?why you say it is not compatible?It is supposed tobe compatible with fiat/alfa me7.x

as i saw i have to conect some pins in order to work.but i cant figure exactly whati must do,since its all written in italian.can some help me?has anyone done this before?

the first message is:Prima di eseguire qualsiasi operazione sulla centralina si deve collegare
Il pin 20 del connettore A lato etichetta di indetificazione della centralina,
a massa di potenza.
Eseguita questa operazione si ruoti la chiave al primo scatto in modo da dare alimentazione solamente alle spie e nello stesso tempo si deve accendere in modo permanente la spia del codice anti avviamento ciò significa che la centralina è inizializzata alla modalità di lettura e programmazione.
Terminato l’operazione di programmazione girare la chiave in OFF e poi togliere il
contatto a massa (il PIN 20), eseguita questa operazione si ruoti la chiave su ON
ed eseguire il TEST detto KWP2000 solamente per accertare la corretta programmazione.

Prima di eseguire qualsiasi operazione sulla centralina si deve collegare
Il pin 20 del connettore B lato opposto etichetta di indetificazione della centralina,
a massa di potenza.
Eseguita questa operazione si azioni l’interruttore per alimentare la centralina e si esegui la richiesta data e poi si esegui la lettura o programmazione .
Terminato l’operazione di programmazione si azioni l’interruttore per alimentare la centralina in OFF e poi togliere il contatto a massa (il PIN 20), fatto ciò si azioni nuovamente l’interruttore per alimentare la centralina ed eseguire il TEST detto KWP2000 solamente per accertare la corretta programmazione
