Re: painting Calipers

I did my calipers in bright red.. Let them dry for about 3 hours with no problems..

Just one word of caution though.. I'd be more careful trying to not paint your brake discs.

Re: painting Calipers

Did mine recently, and got some decals off a buddy and threw them on too, i'm delighted with them.i left them 24 hours too cos you don't want to risk them turning into sludge, i was extra cautious though cos i had to drive to Dublin (about 200 miles) the following day so they would have gotten pretty hot over that distance. fortunately they were still perfect when i got there

Re: painting Calipers

Drums should be done Black really
or a slight grey tinge

I just done mine with Halfords Metallic Black high temperature paint, and its a little brighter then i wanted
But its not too bad really

If you do them - get a nice smooth Black

however it cant do any harm unless you didnt use high heat paint, if u smell burning smell one day then it might be that :P
