honestly I don't know how they can afford to replace all these box's i can only imagine it's got something to do with there huge backing from Hyundai i mean they are probably one of the biggest auto manufacturers in the world i believe Hyundai santefey have similar problems

althou thinking about it for what they are there wildly overpriced and the parts and servicing price is huge i mean £65 pluss vat for a cigi lighter and ash tray and that's our cost price for the parts alone we gota add vat and fitting

Can you get different headlight for the m2b?? iwould like sum darker ones!! to match the darker wheels i want! which size would give the best handling but also pretty good ride comfort? 16's??

Also is the engine/gearbox in the sporting the same/related to the panda 100hp??? just wondered!

Exactly the same engine and box .

I'd stick with 15's personally especially if your lowering the ride is bumpy enough already .

And no I haven't seen any aftermarket lights .

engine is slightly different inside and has a tiny bit more hp 95 to 100 lol but other than that identical

why not tint the front lights only slightly thou

Re: new punto owner!!!!!

the SWEETEST mod for lights on the fronts of mk2B's is to take the lenses off, and paint the area surrounding the actual mirrors black.

like this:http://www.tuning.online.pt/forum/di...7.html?p=51155

Re: new punto owner!!!!!

Has anyone done this then?? Id be a bit worried to try it on my own!!

Havent got my car yet, yet ive already changed half of it!

Think ill stay with 15's then and just lower it a bit! still like the panda wheels tho! Think what im trying to do is make it handle as well as the 100hp! And a bit faster too!

Still got 3 days till i get it!

Think ill miss the power of my hgt but not much else!

Re: new punto owner!!!!!

in the words of a wise man on puntomk2:

Heat up lights (don't need to do this, optional)
Cut the lense off using a fine toothed hacksaw/dremel.
Remove plastic inner, spray black.
Re-fit plastic inner.
Run a bead of silicone around the light unit.
Put lense back in place, hold in place with masking tape till set.
Job done.

theres a few people have done this now
