Bucket Seats! Help

Hi there, Bought Some Universal Bucket seats from ebay got delivered they ae detroit bucket seats but they dont fit straight into the car they are about 2 inches out where could i get sub frames for this type of seat or does anyone have an IDIOTS guide to help me make my seats fit! i have a mk2b punto!

ok what if i cant use these things! how do i go about it i have searched for subframes but not happening for me!

Ah yes, 'Universal'

Dictionary definition is 'fits nothing properly'

If Demontweeks can't sort you out, then you could try a local engineering shop and ask them to make something suitable using the pictures in Demontweeks as a guide?
