HG Price

I have just put my punto s, s reg into the local garage to have HG replaced for £350 including timing belt. I tryed a few places around cirencester but only to find other quotes were £600+ which is a joke. any idea on this being a reasonable price?? cars done under 70K, think i might not rag it so much once ive got new HG.
any ideas? thanks
