Re: mid rev range

does it do it from cold if it does this rules out lambda cos it is open loop for quite some time until the car is warm

short of that it could be any sensor on the engine really

could be a problem with the throttle potentiometer also

could go to local garage and try different rmp's on an emissions tester and see if it's far away from were it should be

Re: mid rev range

I would think your better going to Fiat than using an aftermarket one, http://www.shop4parts.co.uk/ they do the lambdas for under £60, also remember to reset your ecu once you replace the lambda..

disconnect battery for a while, over night if you can to make sure, but few hours should be ok.

Re: mid rev range

after you replace a lambda sensor and the engine has gone thou a warm up cycle it should automatically turn the light off but the fault will still remain in the ecu as an intermittent one only fiat examiner or some other code readers can clear this but it doesn't really matter what you care about is that the light is off

yea more likely a lambda as everyone says if only when warm ie lambda closed loop

cheap-o lambda sensors are a waste of time I haven't seen any last more than a couple of years also with the original part you don't need to mess with wiring it to the original wires you just get new one and plug in it's under the cover at the back of the engine
