Shes Growling!!

Odd one form ya's guys, my cars been in need of a new clutch a few weeks now but been putting it off. Then today on the way home i notice the engine suddenly got louder when accelerating. Its like a much louder growling sound and sounds similar to like a loose exhaust. Its coming from over in the passenger footwell but inside the engine bay. Any ideas?

manifold-cat/flexi section? try getting someone to seal the exhaust with there hand while you look at the front to see if it is blowing! sounds like your exhaust thou
