(G) Steering problems

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction I have a fiat punto 60 - R Reg 1.2.
Every time i put full lock on my steering i get this pop (or a thump) sound as if something is clicking out of joint.. When driving my steering goes to the left abit.. this also happens when i turn it the opposite direction i get a thump sound but my steering seems to go straight again.

Anybody any ideas please.

Also im in need of a new back wiper motor for my punto and ive seen some on ebay - are these a reasonable price?????? 20ish quid????
and is it a MK1 back wiper motor that i need because i dont really know the difference between MK1 and MK2 etc.

Yours is MK1 mate is the clonking def from the front?

yeah seem to be front left side, its only just started happening

Hi there, it sounds a bit like 1 of your cv joints is on it's way out?

I have a rear wiper motor if you still need 1?

CV joints - Is it a dealers job or can any garage sort it? what sort of price would I be looking at??
