(G) Laquer Peeling

Hi All I Have Just Noticed On My Punto That The Laquer In Some Small Areas Is Starting To Peel Is This Comon And What Should I Do?

Any Suggestions Would Be Appreciated :d

same here, doors, wings, bonnet, roof, rear wings cant do anything really? except dont pick it! makes it worse

but i think best bet would be put some clear nail vanish over the edge where its peeling to stop it peeling off?

it shows that the car has been painted before and they did a bad job., only cure is to have it repainted again but thats a lot of money.,

it doesnt, my punto aint been resprayed, and its peeling everywhere, my old gt deffo wasnt resprayed, that was also peeling all over.

thats unusuall., maybe just fiat skimping on quality there too.., you'd usually see this on a car that had been painted and not preped properly.,

That was the case on my car bonnet, absolutely awful paint job. Apparently, they must have put down a coat of primer, then painted over the top of that whilst it was still drying. Laquer peeling, paint easily chipped etc.

Luckily I know a man with a spray gun and it doesn't look anything like that now.

the idea is to paint it while the under layer isnt completely dry though,., helps it al fuse together.,
