(G) mk1 driver's seat bugging me

basically, the seat squeaks ALL the time, whenever i corner, accelerate, brake, get in, out, etc. theres a lot of play in the seat as well.

unbelievably annoying, much more so than it sounds.

i think the problem is to do with the sliding rails. has anybody else had this problem, and how is it mended?
well obviously, get some new seats, or rails at least, but if its mendable... i would like to know.

you know, i never got that far... i was too concerned about the play to think it would help. been like this for some time now.
anyway, il try wd40, but that wont solve the play... guess its new rails time

If WD doesn't help you...you could try some grease....though every bit of dust in a 9 mile radius will stick to it
