I have an annoying rattling
It appears to be from front engine bay
Its not the heatshield as that is firm/solid and not moving and cant see anything loose or rubbing.
Sounds like a mettalic rustling/chinking a touch like pinking
it does it around 1-1.5k revs when under load/accelaration dissapears when engine runs at normal temp,doesn't do it at idle or free wheeling :bang:
could it be the cat falling apart inside?

Mani - cat.. you should be able to replicate that just with rev's.

Turns out it was alternator belt new belt on to cure a squeel at start up and the annoying rattling is gone too
Bargain two faults fixed with one repair and a nice easy Sunday morning DIY repair no garage costs

Hope it doesnt STRETCH too much as it beds in..

Annoying when you need to adjust more than once..

Not a problem if it does plenty of room in my engine bay ( No A/C) so pretty easy to adjust if needed there's plenty of adjustment space left on the slider
Previous belt was at max so must have been adjusted by previous owner
