Technical Engine oil

Hi I am wanting to check my engine oil. Is my oil dipstick likely to be a blue ring or am I looking for something else? Not wanting to pull out the wrong thing!

This is my engine bay. There is a blue ring on the right is this the dipstick?

Can any 1.4 owners help with the dipstick ie colour?

don't worry, till somebody answer you, as long as the oil pressure lamp don't lit on the dashboard then it's okay I believe

stood by the front right hand side wheel


and i wouldnt put it past fiat to change the colour from red to blue

The top of the dipstick is blue in colour on 2011 1.4 8v engines.
