General Really need some help with 2013 punto roof bars!

I've got a 2013 fiat punto GBT. I have already got some Thule bars but had to buy some new feet Thule 753 kit and Thule kit 3110 to fit onto my punto. These were the recommended ones for my car.
However I have come to fit and my punto seems to have different fitting points to the kits that are recommended and have bought for the car.

I will post pictures later of car fittings




So has anyone fitted roof bars to a 2013?
What kit did you buy and do you have.a instructions leaflet or some pictures of how you fitted them.

I am really having difficulty finding any info and need the bars on for a holiday in a few months.

The ones from the grande punto 2006> should fit fine you got a 3 or 5 door?

I don't think the 1413 fitting kit seem correct, I worked out it might be the 1598 fitting kit with 754 foot pack, what do you think?

looks like thule have revised their range or altered the kit from when i got mine in 2006...

their site is now showing:

Yes I bought the items that were for a 2013 punto and not a 2013 punto Evo.

Even though its not an Evo the punto items do not fit. Has to be Evo.

ive got genuine fiat grande punto ones on my punto evo, the roof is the same on them all from 96 onward iirc

Nope, the 176 (Mk1), 188 (Mk2) and the punto variants of the 199 (Grande punto, punto evo and punto 2012) are the same in the same family, IE: You won't fit Mk1 bars to a Mk2 and vice versa.

need a bit of help
this picture shows the kit 1413 as punto 3dr and 5dr
i am looking at a kit right now but just lists as 5dr
im asking as i have the chance of buying the bars and older 750 footpack so need the older adapter 1413
mine is a 3 dr 2012 same as 3dr 2006 on so they will fit
but what is in the kit andy?
1 set of adapters for 3 dr and 5dr or adapters for front and then different ones for 3dr and 5dr?

found the answer
after much googling some kits 1413 have only the 5 door adapters in as the adapters are different from 3-5 door as i knew
also it appears the later kit 1598 is also compatible
so search continues

OLD thread.. but NOT as old as the bodyshell ,

I bought used ones from a 2006 5 door ( grande) for my 2012 TA,

no issues.

Regardless of what it says on the THULE website:bang:

The older parts (seem) compatible with the newer parts (well with the 3 door 2012 punto any way) and by sounds of it same with charlies 5 door

The older foot pack 750 (I HAVE)
The older adaptor kit 1413

new foot pack 754
new adaptors 1598 (I HAVE)

square bars from the older foot pack
so as long as the kit is for a 3 door or 5 door you will be fine
grande punto 2006-2011 is same as a punto evo 2010-11 and the punto 2012-2016

AFAIK - it's the rear fixings that will differ, as aperture-wise..
you are mounting to a WINDOW , not a DOOR

I didn't say - but my " now 10 year old bars " were from a 5 door GP to my 5 door "punto"

on my 3rd day of ownership - I went to an FF / MI meet,

and Wisey helped me check the mats all were interchangeable - so my Twinair has EVO mats..
