Had my 2012 Punto GBT multijet into the dealer today as the dashboard cantre right air outlet wheel had jammed the vent open . Apparently when stripped there was an excess piece of plastic fouling the mechanism.
My car has the 68R tom tom option so this may not affect other models with a different moulding.
They also fitted a new clutch footrest/air vent on the transmission tunnel as the previous one had warped and the sharp end kept trapping my trouser leg when changing gear. A new one has fixed the problem, but I was asked if they wanted me to put a screw in to hold it in place as it is a common problem. Have left it for the time being as car will be due a service in March and if it is a problem it can be done then.

I have the lounge multijet punto 2012 also have the 68r option fitted ,but have suffered none of the problems you have stated ,i wonder if anyone else on here has ,or just bad luck on yours will have to wait and see!!

I think these are very minor problems. I bought my car mid September with 1500 miles on the clock and in just over 3 months have done another 8,000 miles averaging a genuine 62mpg - very pleased.
