| Forte engine flush? Hi there, I am about the change the oil, I will use Castrol Magnatec 10w40. My previous oil was a cheap one and I have noticed it is quite dark. I have read about Forte engine flush treatment and I am considering using it before changing the oil. Could someone who has used Forte tell me about his/her experience? Was it a good idea? For how many miles/km did you drive the car with the Forte treatment added to your old oil? Is there any reason why I should not use it? Thanks in advance! /N Fiat Punto 75S - mk1

| Re: Forte engine flush? I used to have a local frenchaise of Forte. I have tested all of the products in my own cars and had never problems. I only have issues with Forte UK staff. Forget what is written on the label. Pour it in the crank case and drive it for several days (I had for testing in one of my cars for three weeks covering a couple of thousand of miles and drove it as usual = hard. 45k miles the engine still goes strong). BTW can't you use Selenia rather then Castrol?
