(T) How Do I Remove The Centre Console?

Hey guys, just baught some interior lights like a right idiot but seeing as iv baught them i may aswell use them. They have a switch on them and as those who have the mk 2 or 2b punto will know theres a free button space on the right hand side of the centre consol.

How do i get into that to fit this new button? Alls i can find is 2 alan screws but thats it and the plastic still wont give.

looked behind heater knobs?

I thought that but i didnt wana just pull them off incase they snapped if that makes sense. ill have a look tomorrow when its lighter.

what colour bulbs you using?

Theres a screw behind the middle knob - I think its the fan speed one.

Colours wont change i dont think without the centre console screens being dyed. Its the console areas that are shaded orange not the lights. the lights are just white. Unless u can get a stong blue bulb that will over power it.

Was worth aving a go tho i suppose. those who have wires neons up to their lights... how did they do it?
