Centre Bore for Alloys?

Do you need to look for alloys with the exact Centre Bore dimensions as your car?

Or (I hope) is there a bit of play or a way around the problem when fitting aftermarket alloys in replacement for the standard alloys?

I wanna know for instance can you fit alloys with 50mm C/Bore onto a car with a 60mm C/Bore easily?

I know to use wobbly bolts to get around PCD i.e use wobbly bolts to fit 4x100 to your 4x98 wheel fitments.

But C/Bore's??????

Re: Centre Bore for Alloys?

I don't know? What are spigott rings and how do they work?

Hopfully they do as I have my heart set on a set of alloys but they are 7mm smaller on C/Bore that my Punto and I would really like to get them

Re: Centre Bore for Alloys?

if they are smaller then you have to take to an engineer and get them made bigger, 58.1mm is what you need

Re: Centre Bore for Alloys?

Most aftermarket alloys dont have a centre bore as such, they use spigot rings to change the centre bore to that of the vehicle theyre fitting.

What alloys are you after?
