hi im new which dump valve? lol

hey all,

Im new to fiats and new to turbos in general really as ive just bought myself a Fiat Punto gt turbo! it has 17's on it and an exhaust which im changing for a custom powerflow one next week, the only other thing apart from getting it lowered is that i want a dump valve for the real turbo effect lol. ive been recommended a bailey dump valve and ive found two thatll suit mine! ones an evo twin piston dump valve and ones a piston re-circulating dump valve does anyone know which ones better and what they do? im lost in the world of dump valves lol! ta, Ad

Welcome to the world of turbos mate...........youll never wana go back to N/A again coz its like a bug!

Do you intend to keep it as standard in the engine department?

a bailey is the typical choice if you are just running standard boost

i couldnt stand in on my old uno turbo after a while! (same engine as the punto)

so as the engines running normal boost the Evo' twin piston d/v is going in! if anybodys got any other ideas, please tell me! lol, cheers again people!
