 |  MK2 JTD Bottom Hose on Rad Guys and Gals.... Check your bottom hose on your JTD's... Mine popped off one day after a 3 hour stint on the motorway... It happened while turning the car around at the destination.... It was just the knowledge of what coolent smelt like that made me stop and check !! Just as well I did !! When I had a proper look the next day, it seemed as if the clip on the hose was on the wrong side of the lipped part of the pipe.  One new big fat jubilee clip and some antifreeze and some water and all is well....
