| 75SX - Replaced sensor, but still won't start A few days ago a fault was found at the crank shaft sensor and so the guy at the garage repaired the wiring. But recommened I repace the sensor in the future, if ever the problem re-occurs. The car was working perfectly for a few days. But only yesterday did it start playing up again. I got out to start the engine and it wouldn't start. I knew straight away it was the crank shaft sensor which had gone. I thought I'd leave it for a couple of hours. I used the red key this time, and voila ! it fired up, left it running for a minute or so, switched off the engine and used the same key to start up again, but it wouldn't start....... Well the car has been at the garage today and the mechanic has replaced the sensor but the car will still not fire up. He's check the leads/spark plugs and he suggests there's no spark there somewhere. He mentioned something about opening up a module....not sure what this is.....can anyone suggest where the fault could lie or what I could do ? P.S. battery is full, starter motor and alternator perfect.

| Re: 75SX - Replaced sensor, but still won't start Hi I ordered the part from my local Fiat dealer. It took a few hours for delivery. P.S. Car is now at my Fiat dealer who have run a diagnosis and found the ECU is showing up as an error. They mentioned that would need to get a new blue key cut and code it up.....not sure what they are going to do with the car, would anyone know ???

| Re: 75SX - Replaced sensor, but still won't start sounds too me like the first mechanic did a mis-diagnosis and its something wrong with you code system.

| Re: 75SX - Replaced sensor, but still won't start why do they need to get a new blue key? do you not already have one?

| Hello people ! After 8 days of no car, I finally got it back today from my Fiat dealer. They got the car starting, said it was an ecu error. Anyway this is how it was put on my invoice. Anyone shed any light into what exactly was carried out............. Placed on examiner fault codes present for pressure sensor. Injector control, coil 1 and coil 2, Unable to delete errors; removed engine ecu and sent for repair; refitted ecu and tested - o.k. It cost me about £120 in total. ECU test was £60, whilst to obtain a code and labour made up for the rest.
