(T) fan heater

Hi, my fan does not operater on settings 1 and 2 but does operate on setting 3, can someone please help. punto 60s T reg.

I had this problem or similiar mine only worked on setting 4 (punto 60s)on the passenger side just above the footwell you will see a group of cables they are connected to a bank of resistors,is coloured green and about 3 inches by 1 and a half inchesand fits nicely into heatsink chassis,these had gone but after replacement it worked for couple of days then went again,i think the blower itself is faulty

You need to replace the resistor, £5 max I think

Hi mate,

When replacing the resistor pack, I would also check that the fan is spinning freely, as often the resistors go when the fan is sticking/needs lubricating.
Just to save your new resistors going 2 days later!
