| Ignition check remote start Hi, i recently bought an alarm for my mk1 punto 55s, it came with a remote start function so i thought i'd install it. it works fine (the key has to be inthe ignition barrel to overide immobiliser) the only thing is that the alarm needs something to check the car has started, it uses a 12v feed from the battery light, however the battery light doesn't come on if the car is started with the remote, so it thinks it hasn't started and triess to run the starter motor again, does anyone know of where i can find a wire which will trigger this

| Re: Ignition check remote start Perhaps something like the stereo ignition wire? Though I'm not entirely sure what the point of a remote start is if you need the key in the ignition? ![]()
