for £85 but will it fit the mk1 1.6i sporting that i have can any1 tell me without saying "gsr" ...........thanks in advance

I think you can buy a decent "calculated" KN with hoses (lets say induction kit) for that money, and I heard of KN and not of Ramair, but dunno, maybe theyre good...
You should measure width of the hose, yours and this one and compare, they should be abbout the same width

Damn....havent look

Maybe go for universal one? Best thing for cheap money is panel filter to replace you existing one, or induction kit...all this filter + hoe thing doesnt sound promising
