I'm torn!!!

I currently have these wheels:



and am torn as to whether to get sporting/gt wheels or do the following:



help me! and it will be lowered sometime!

and exactly what help are you expecting

help whether to go for the sporting/gt wheels or get the tempra wheels anthracited...

gota say, i really dont like the current wheels I would get punto GT ones in anthracite if anything. thats me personally though. I woudlnt even anthracite the tempra wheels you have imo as they dont suit the car BUT each to their own

This is my point though that if I get some GT wheels it'll look like a standard car, but with anthracited Tempra wheels it looks slightly modified, which I like. Another idea is to polish the lip on the old steel wheels and re-paint the centres...

hmm i see your point. The idea with the steelies sounds cheap to do but will turn out naff if you cant get to the side beading properly (take tyres off), as they're steel a decent amount of laquer will have to be used too bcoz polished steel even when laquered, rusts unbleiveably quick, even with 8 layers on it! Ive been wanting to see some polished GT wheels recently to see what they look like. do that

lol, extra cost though... I can get these wheels refurbed for cheaper than buying a set of GT wheels and polishing them...

indeed It sounds simple but whatever you do, if you tight on money, do something that if you dnt like you can cheaply return to standard, or even sell on to make your money back from doing the work yourself IYKWIM

Shop the steelies onto the car with the lip and painted inners. BTW you'll have skinnier tyres tehn which never looks as good though

you could always find someone with some Sporting wheels who would be willing to swap

TBH, sporting wheels suit the punto much more and tempra whels look like they would suit the cinq more, kinda squarer blockier design to them, though that dusnt help with the idea of you not wanting the alloys to look to standard shame.

no really,the darker wheels really suit your car colour,it really works,but at the end of the day its your call!!

i have some MK1 sporting wheels you can have for FREE, needs 1 new tyre and some tlc as the paint is bubbling but you could use them to play with and paint ect.

pm me and id prefer it if you could pick them up cos im lazy and cant be bothered with the hassle of postage

what sporting wheels though? 1.6 or 1.2? he will want the 1.2 ones, and if there the 1.2 ones your crazy giving them away free
