(S) Lacey's Punto --- first pics ---

hi all

just got mi silver FF stickers through this mornin! put em on now and they look ace! thanks a bunch guys !!! woo hoo !!!

i got mi centre console this morning (i fink!!! i was out and i got a card saying the postman had been but i wasnt in to sign for it!!!)

gonna spray mi console silver and i got silver gaiters and silver air vent kit coming too, its gonna look sweet. i will be uploading pics soon, ill upload sum a.s.a.p and ill upload more wen all mi gaiters and air vents etc are installed

i cant spend any mor eon it for a month or so coz of mi insurance (its gonna be bout 1400 for mi first year but it is a 1.7 TD SX !!!!

neways im off 2 take sum pics of inside and out btw it is a work in progress so any "constructive critisism" is welcome

Your car is the same colour as my first punto.

The only thing i will say against it is the filler flap doesnt look right

i dunno i quite like the filler cap, goes with my interior, im going for the black/silver lokk inside and out

i got sum black tinting going in soon, chrome or black 3d rear lights (not made mi mind up yet!!!!)

ill take sum of the interior once the gaiters, console and handbrake handle are on

they do look wierd without centre consoles lol

First id like to say welcome,

Secondly is what i would do to your car, in no particular order:

remove tacky england flag on parcel shelf
remove them crap silver bits on your window wipers
remove steering wheel & seat covers
remove petrol cap sticker
remove tacky tribal sticker from rear window
get some alloys preferbely 15' to 16's
lower straight after, you want it lower than your grans nipples
colour code bumpers & while your there do the same to your handles & mirrors

Sorry if it sounds harsh but im just saying how i see it.

why the hell would i do tht, i like everyfing in my car, i know i prob look like a little boi racer but im not bothered the lasses like it

i got plenty more stuff planned before i lower it and get alloys on it, it is my first car after all i dont wanna spend thousands on it, just spend a little bit here and there til i go the cash to ave it sprayed, lowered and alloys

remember these fings cost money, i just had a 200 quid alarm fitted to it so im a little low atm thats why im only doing little fings to it

But dont you think it looks a little bit tacky with the mods youve chosen? its looks like you've crashed into halfords.

Thats fair enough & you dont need thousands to make your car look nice. Simply by removing the 'tacky' things it could look so much nicer!

Your right on getting little things first thats what i did, clear indicators & system etc, but your going the wrong way about 'little things' i think.

Look forward to seeing these mods, oh & 'fings' is spelt 'things'
