(S) Centre Console

I got myself a real bargain today went to my local scrappy (they are best for far ) and i searched the punto's and i found a beautiful Console in one

so i asked how much for the punto centre console? they mutter.. and they came up with £10 10 for a centre console! bargain!

yes, air vents! and inside the console there is a black plastic contraption lol! it takes the air from the fornt somewhere? and feeds it through the vents at the side gives it a nice look huh? The scrappy is located in Hull, I dont know the road names etc.. i only know hwo to get there.. i will see if i can find out

I did that to my S punto, and it made such a massive improvement when driving, it just feels more posh (lol)

I moved my stereo into the lower cubby hole and i find it doesn't skip at all now...

There are two sets of air vents one lot by the gear stick and the other near the footwell. Well hot air seems to come out both of them, thats the main thing

well to be honest the answer seems simple to me

because it didnt have a centre console first so there are no carpets there, cos they never been.

do them vents hook up somewhere then cant see where..

yes they do inside is a black plastic thing, haha it's 2 tubes that link to the vents from back of the car (i dunno what the tihng i attached it to is called, but yes warm air )

thats sweet looking man. im going mad trying to find one of them, none of the scrappys in dublin seem to have them.it really fills out the gap around the gearstick.makes the cabin look more modern. if anyone seees one of these online or knows where i might get one please please pm me!!

Yeh but if anyone happens to see one online id appreciate if they posted it up. Its **** hard tryin to find one over here!what happens to the cig lighter part?does the console just fit over it?do you remove the little pull down flap thingy?

You remove it.. and the new console has it built in just put the cable into the back of it =)

Cinqy how come your radio is in a different hole? Did you just feel different at the time?
