(S) Preparing and Spraying!

What equipment do i need to prepare and spray my wing mirrors and door handles on a punto mk2, there currently the black plastic and i want to colour code them
Please Help!

you need ...degreaser, a gray scotchbrite,plasic primer, two-pac primer..800 wet/dry paper ...car colour paint..

scotchbrite the parts so they are dull everywhere, then clean with the degreaser... spray plastic primer..one coat..... leave for 10 mins...then 2 coats of 2 pac primer.10 mins between each coat... leave this primer on OVERNIGHT....dont rush it..
next day flat the primer smooth with the 800 grit wet/dry with water..... dry off...clean with degreaser
.....ready to paint....
you dont say weather your car is solid 2k colour or a metalic base coat and clear colour.....
the prep above should be used regerdles.. apart from the painting the car colour.... if solid 2k then... 1 coat..leave for 10 mins..then another bit heavier final coat...
if metalic... i dry coat..leave 5 mins..another bit heavier coat...leave 5 mins...then another bit heavier coat..leave 10 mins....then 1 final dryish coat.....leave this for 25 mins.... the metalic should be touch dry by then... then apply 1 coat of a mix between dry and heavy coat of laquer,..leave for 15 mins......finaly...another heavyish coat to ge the final finish.... then leave the things alone untill the next day where you can polish or wax ............

....... dont rush the process... for the sake of a bit more time the results will be 100% better...
