Wolfrace Matrix 17's in black

Just bout to order these for my yellow Gt in black think they will look awesome against the yellow. But when I phoned the chap up he said the only fitment they had them in were 4x100 and he could see me a set of wobbly bolts so they would fit.

Are these safe to fit or will they **** up my drums etc.

cheers Lee.

You'll be alright with those mate it's only 2mm. I'm having the same problem at the moment I wanted BK racing 299's for my stilo & have been told by 3 places now that they won't fit because the wobbly bolts won't go through the aperture of the wheel. You shouldn't have any probs what so ever. Nice choice BTW!

Welcome to the forum

Bennyboys right about the wobble bolts, loads of people use them with no problems. But on the mk1 Puntos 17s rub (dont they?!) - do you need to have the arches rolled?

Doesn't that depend on how low it is?

Ive read theres not much room in the arches of mk1s even standard height. Besides 17s and not lowered probably wont look too good.

Talking Re: Wolfrace Matrix 17's in black

If its standard height, 17's will be fine.
The only prob will be when there is more than one in the back as then it wil rub on the fuel line, so i advise getting it repostioned

Mk1 offset is 35-45 so yeah should be fine with wobbly bolts.

Re: Wolfrace Matrix 17's in black

Thanx for all your advice. I ordered the new Street Racer in black today as they couldn't get me the Matrix.

4x100 et38. What does the et mean? As there was et35, et38, et40.

Where do I get a set of the decent wobbly nuts from?

Cheers Lee

ET is the offset mate and you should get ET40 for Puntos.

Re: Wolfrace Matrix 17's in black

I think my alloys were ET38 on my Punto. Wobbly bolts from here- www.rochfordtyres.co.uk but where are you getting them from?- they should really provide you with them.

Really nice wheels though Should suit the yellow like a treat.

Re: Wolfrace Matrix 17's in black

ET can be from 35 - 38, so you will be fine. And as the pcd is 100, wobblies will be fine.
They are lovely wheels. Get some pics up of the end result ;o)
