(S) Controversy over LED's

i,m quite amused at some comments stating its not all about "fast" cars correct me if i,m wrong but if you read the first post no mention about "fast" cars. the clue is in the title[controversy over led,s] but then again i may be missing a hidden message somewhere

You're right Jim, but some people were saying that having a fast car was more important than having a car whose looks you were proud of. Personally I think it's 50/50 .. some people go more for looks, some more for speed

I don't see how ppl can say led's make cars look chav.....just depends how you apply them I guess....then again...angel eyes look chav too as they are not for a fiat/ford/renualt/vw.. etc....made for a bm and only look good on a bm.....again...my opinion and everyone has their own..

Not really a fan of LED running lights/neons, never have been. Even if it's factory fit.

well running your car with under neon's switched on is illegal. most of the young team should be aware of this, because you don't want to be pulled by the feds ...i have to admit its harmless enough but you will grow out of this faze.. aye its good to be young. hey i had some crazy ideas when i was a lad, but with so much money about nowadays there does seem to be a lot of eh shall we say colour full choices out there. thing is i,m not really having a pop here, i,m just a bit amused at some who have ideas & they think that's it
its a wake up call to some but there are other views as well as theirs

Firstly, I am sure people who are on this forum and any other are more than aware that all threads are open to positive and negative criticism. People are after advice and opinions and not over powering egotistic old people that think they know all due to an age difference.

Secondly, this thread is not a conversation between just you and me, it is between everyone. I never mentioned you calling LED lights chav. My comment was my expression to this thread which was to anyone reading this.

Thirdly, what is hoot?! I am not too sure what you were getting at by using such language. Meaning of hoot:
generally refers to the call of an owl.

could also refer to:

• Hoot (slang for cocaine)
• Hoot (slang for person of Oriental origin)

For the sake of your dignity, I hope you were not referring one of the above as me?
