(S) Interior swap

Its my birthday in a few weeks and im already wondering what to spend my money on (Im like a little kid I know). Anyway, most of you will know the disgusting blue interior that many puntos come with and I want to get rid of it. Problem is I cant find any decent places that have interiors, i search ebay but to no avail and also used google. Also, would it be possible to take from another car (coupe, Mk1 punto)? So If anyone could help me with my search I would be very greatful. Thanks.

If you can get the GT interior! In terms of the rear seats thy are the only ones that fir straigh in, failing that the less comfortable 75elx ones. Coupe seats wont fir you can only get the front seats in at a straight swap. You could get front seats from pretty much any alfa romeo and they will fir with little modification, ie, drilling holes in the runners. I had GTV front seats in my car for a while. I not have the GT interior and its by far the best.

ok thanks for that mate, I know you have a Mk1 but is it the same case as my Mk2? But I'll keep on the look out for the GT interior

im not entirely sure about the MK2 its all about hav far apart the runners are, if you can find seats with the runners the same distance apart, you can fir them with only having to drill holes to bolt them down, have you tried looking at stilo seats or something, they do a half leather one I believe....

im liking the sound of half leather im off to check ebay :P, ill get one of the seats out later and check the measurements. Does anyone know about the rear seats, what will fit there as I know these are more awkward to fit.

just remember that as you start looking at seats from larger cars, their interiors and seats are generally larger aswell, just a heads up!

yeah I had half leather GTV ones in my mk1 they looked sweet, if youve got tinted rear windows no-one can see the back anyways :P

get a mark 2 sporting interior

Ive found someone breaking a sporting and Ive asked them how much they want for the interior, they haven't got back to me yet though. Whats the HGT interior like or is it the same?

HGT is like sporting but black and blue innit? wherethe sporting is black and grey, eother way comfy! :P

mk2b sportings/hgts come in the best colours in a better material imo

First breaker had no luck with, have enquired somewhere else now. May go to scrappies at the weekend and look round.

Been offered an interior from a HGT, asking for £185 delivered, is it worth it or could I find it cheaper?

maybe a little cheaper but thats about the going rate
