(S) help needed!

Just purchased some groovy silver door pins, was trying to work out how to fit them to my mk2 punto. They are screw on ones, and i looked about the net today and couldnt see the mk2 punto among cars which were known for door pins to just unscrew (i then confirmed this by trying to unscrew them myself with elbow grease and plyers, it didnt work!) I was wondering if u just yanked the originals up so they come off and then just glue the new ones on? Im very confused, b gr8 if someone could steer me in the right direction!
