coilovers?

hi guys, im looking to lower my punto mk2b been looking at coilovers but worried about ride comfort is it much worse with coilovers compared with a lowering suspention kit?

Yeah the coilees are good, alot better than other cars on coilovers like peugeots. I think the ride comfort is good on the Punto with coilovers

how much should i be looking at for fitting, i was quoted £100 for fitting new suspension will coilovers be any more expensive?

shouldn't be more than £30 a corner but get it done at a place with 4 wheel lazer alignment machine as camber will need setting up right

Most people go with FK's mate as they offer a good drop and are a decent price.

how much should i drop it by? considering i still want to be able to go over speed bumps and drive with passengers without any trouble, its a mk2b on 16's

My old 8v was lowered about 75-80mm on 16's and as long as I slowed right down speed bumps weren't a problem.




If you think that might be too low for you then consider a 50mm drop as its a much cheaper option,
