I'm having a nightmare fitting this linkage.

It's all in place, and seems to work, but I'm having problems.

The passenger side arm can move about 3 inches whilst the drivers side stays in the same position. This means that the wiper will sometimes come up before the drivers side and they collide or it will come too far down and hit the scuttle panel. Sometimes both happen.

And the drivers side arm comes down about an inch before it goes up.

I've tried adjusting everything, but no joy in fixing it.

Does anyone have a decent picture of the linkage fitted to the motor?

I have a few pictures of how it is fitted on that car which I sahll upload a little later.

One final point, the free wiper blades that come with the link are rubbish. made of cheap metal that flexes a lot. Hard "top quality wipers blades" as Dave states in the sticky.

Because as I said, it does kinda work.

The rubber is fine, but the metal is shoddy, really flimsy and the plastic clips are too small I've had to tape them on to stop them sliding off.

I've tried for about 5 hours in total to get it to work properly. No joy at all.

Position looks the same as the one I fitted.

As I say, it works ok, just because the passenger arm can move freely, it hits the scuttle panel.
Can you move your passenger side wiper arm up and down?

All sorted now. I phoned the chap and explained the problem.

It turns out that for some reason the arms were the wrong length so he gave me the measurements and I adjusted them both to the right length.

Works perfectly. (y)
