Hello guys & girls..

I have bought some abarth sporting pedals. The Fiat dealer gave me some discount and also, he gave me the sporting "resting" pedal (correct name?) All in all, a nice deal.

But he informed me, that the "resting" pedal, was not included the bolts and so on... (I guess that's the reason he gave it to me for free)

So, is there anybody out there, that have some ideas, as in how to make it "stick" without the originals bolts??

Any ideas would be grateful!

Adios!

:) Hehehe..

The sporting resting pedal, is aluminium (I think), just like the abarth sporting pedals.

There is some hard platic, which is the resting pedal on the Punto II right now..

The car is a 1,2 8v (2000) S..

it may be simply held on by carpet spikes.

or it may be a plate underneath then bolted thru the actual wheelarch.

or it could just be bolted right into the wheelarch with some selftappers (not reccomended unless you treat the holes with rust proofer etc).

thats the problem with LHD cars, no where to really put your foot in small cars (n)

although mk2 RHD punto's don't have a 'clutch rest' as we call it, but mk1's and mk3 grande's do

I can see that it is hard plastic in my Punto II. And it will not come off.. Seems like it is apart of the floor.. Very odd in a way..
