I've got a '96 Punto 75SX. I've got the original red key, and one blue key. I want a spare blue key, and have noticed you can buy blanks on ebay.

How easy is it to get these cut, and can I programme it myself - if so, how?

PS - I'm not very technically minded, so go easy on me!

Thanks,

Matt.

I wouldnt bother buying it because you cant program it yourself and you'll still have to pay someone to do that.,.,
From what i hear, you can get one made at timpsons in the uk but i cant confirm this as we dont have that store in ireland.,.,.

dont need red key,go to timpsons and ask them to clone the blue key, they will insert transponder when cutting.quite easy because punto doesnt use rolling codes for the transponder

I bought a new remote key from ebay

And I just need to get it chipped and cut, then you program the key to the central locking thingy in the boot...they come with a 4 digit number on them.

But dunno if yours is the same beau, cos you have a different C/L system to me.
