Hey, New to the Forum so firstly Hello! (y)

Anyway, I have two questions I wanted to ask. I am 17 and recently purchased a punto ready for when I'm driving. Now one problem I've got with it is very minor, basically the interior light doesn't work, could this be a bulb or something else (if it is the bulb how do i replace it?) and secondly, I wouldn't mind purchasing some coloured coded bumpers for it, are they easy to install? I've already sorted out my Ipod/Cd player :) It's a great car!

Many Thanks

Andy

Hey Andy, the interior light could either be the bulb or the fuse, both can be bought at halfords for a few £'s at most.

Depending on what model of punto it is the fuse box is most likely located near your right knee as your in the drivers seat, in my mk1 its got 2 screws holding it closed, behind that are the fuses, one of which is for the cigarette lighter (and interior lights), if its blown then replace it (there might be spares to the left of the fuses), if its not blown then its probably the bulb thats gone.

Thanks for such a quick reply guys!, I'll be sure to check that out straight away then, Do you have any clues about the bumpers, by the way I have a W Reg Mrk II Punto :D, Would a sporting bumper fit on the back of this by any chance?, or are they totally different etc?

I'm pleased to say the light is fixed, was very very easy :) Just needed a new bulb, the one from the previous owner was totally black and blown! I have found some bumpers (colour coded) in blue metallic which I might purchase. Thanks for the heads up on the tutorial on the tips page! Also that smooth siding looks good, anyone else managed to do this successfully? :D

Thanks for all the help!
