General remote central locking keys

General remote central locking keys

but how you get them to work?

be cheaper to get a new kit imo, kit is new relay and 2 thobs about £60

I dont know much about them to be honest dave, i just saw them on there, never actually got a quote for programming one??.,.,

depends what car and what it has fitted already.

if its a mk1 or a mk2 with factory central locking already you can add a 'meta' kit which cost between £30-60 and are dead simple to fit (mk1 = 1min mk2 = 5-10mins)
is it not the actual key with the remote built in that he's talking about??

thats what I mean.

but you can get a meta yellow relay which has its own little blipper (fiat blue so is OE equipment AFAIK) literally just plug it in on the mk1, and mk2 you need to plug something else in.

possibly cheaper than getting a new key made and then programmed (at a gues £70-90 from fiat)

ok... dont no alot about cars, its a punto 1997 R reg, has alarm system built into it with the central locking

in this case you have it easy.

ebay, META kit for a mk1 will literally take 5seconds and any fool can do it.]

they come up regulary for £50-60,
sometimes less when from other sellers but you may be waiting a while.

you also get two blippers so a spare when you loose/brake the first one

or theres this if its any use to you. I don't know if it is though
